The MPL4210 4-channel serial Interface provides the user with a flexible means of interfacing a G-64/96 microcomputer system with RS232-C, RS422 and/or 20 mA current loop devices.
The MPL4210 may be configured to appear as a data terminal to the external data communication device. The baud rate is jumper selectable from 300 to 19200 baud and is independent for each port. Current loop operates at 19200 baud over distances of up to 400 meters.
