The µEPI is an ultra small form factor Ethernet Power Injector. Its main purpose is to upgrade products without PoE
port to a PSE solution (Power Sourcing Equipment). The µEPI comes with either lockable headers and RJ45 or with lockable headers only.
PoE is a network function, which is defined in IEEE Standards 802.3af and 802.3at. The µEPI supports up to 30W power (PoE+). The PoE is to
the supply PoE devices like wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones, to name just a few. Power for the µEPI needs to be added
depending on the power requirement of the connected device.
The module supports up to of 57V and the PoE+ power classes (class 0 up to class 4)
The temperature range of the µEPI is -40°C up to +85°C. The size is only 62 x 28 x 20mm.
