MPL introduces the Pentium M 1.8GHz solution with 2MB internal L2 cache. The PIP products can be operated as standard PCs but they are stillvery different from the commonly known PCs and Industrial PCs. Those are generally based on the Intel Reference design, the design for commercial PCs. The PIP product differentiation includes key issues like the PCB design and construction, the EMI/RFI protection on-board and within the housing, the selection of long-term available components as well as features that are unique in this industry.
